Positive: It was a rather cool experience and the host was friendly. We were trying to find the entrance to the gate and encountered the host. He helped us with our luggage and offered to help out with our luggages again when checking out. Despite the lack of comfort, the cost to stay was rather cheap. So you do get what you pay for, the value is there. Just need to manage one’s expectations.
Negative: No shower on the ship. There is a public one about 1-2 minute walk away from where the boat was docked. Shower stalls do not have locks on them. So for female guests, definitely need to be a bit wary about that. Although there was no shower on the boat, it did have a toilet. The toilet did look clean, although I’m not so sure about the nearby walls. I also don’t think the proper cleaning agent was used, since the moment I stepped inside the interior of the boat, a very strong urine smell hit me. Perhaps bleach or a strong bacteria killing cleaning agent to deep clean the toilet and the surrounding areas could help. Also as expected, there is no wifi at all. The bed is rather small, felt more like a twin size because the front side of boat tapers in. For better comfort, most likely the bed can only fit one person sleeping on it. If you have a second guest, they will have to sleep on the sofa for sure. In which if the table in the center was collapsible to connect the two sofa couches to make another bed, it would’ve made the experience so much better. There are some mold on some surfaces, like the ceiling of the front bed area. The fridge is the micro ones for cans, so it’s not possible to grocery shop due to the lack of storage space.
