The Space:
Swallowdale is the perfect getaway for families! Situated on 10 acres at an ideal 4 season location, it's less than 5 minutes to Deerhurst & Hidden Valley resorts & 10 mins to Huntsville and Arrowhead Park, so lots of hiking, biking, skiing and golf nearby. Or stay on-site and enjoy the sandy beach, take out the canoe, or build a fire & gaze at the stars and amazing views across the lake. There is also a swing set, trampoline, treehouse, basketball hoop and level lawn. Our cottage features 4 bedrooms & 3 full baths, all on the ground level. The office and playroom are located on the second floor.For rainy or especially cold days, we have a fantastic collection of board games and puzzles and a nice arts & crafts closet.

The lakefront offers a private child-friendly sand beach with a shallow water entry and sandy bottom perfect for little ones who are just learning to swim. There is also a treehouse perfect for the little explorer to create new adventures. Swallowdaleoffers west facing exposure meaning you get beautiful sunsets. This cottage is perfect for any family who want to enjoy the great outdoors all year round. The beach area, treehouse and large green lawn offer the perfect places for the kids to play while the adults relax on the deck or dock. Bedroom 1 - queen bed, overlooks the lake with a sliding door to a private deck. Has en suite with a shower.
Bedroom 2 - queen bed, overlooks north of property (creek & woods). Connects to a shared en suite with a tub/shower.
Bedroom 3 - full bed, overlooks east of property (front entrance). Connects to a shared en suite with bedroom 2.
Bedroom 4 - queen bed, overlooks south of the property (lawn) and connects with the muskoka room. Full bathroom (with tub/shower) is directly across the hall.

***Guests have exclusive access to the entire main house, with the exception of one room,where we keep our personal effects. Guests do not have access to the vacant bunkie or the several sheds
outside used for storage.

Or property does not have AC but the house does stay cool with windows open at night and shut during The day.
