Summary: What a beautiful house! Greeted by the very friendly owner on arrival and treated to tea and cake in the sitting room. The house is highly maintained, spotless and has lovely decor in keep with its period style. Our room was large with a super size bed and a large en-suite bathroom, with a bath and built in shower, also clean and decorated in its period style. Coffee, tea and cake in our room every day. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room. Cereals available to hand and a cooked breakfast to our choosing. Tea, coffee and fresh orange. Can't rate our stay high enough and would definitely recommend a stay at this character house which is located within easy reach of the centre of Berwick-on-tweed and its surrounding villages and historic sites.
