Summary: The most positive things about my stay at The Lilac Inn were the staff… all very sweet, attentive, and accommodating. The property certainly gives you that historic Vermont feel! The Beautiful breakfast room and gardens, along with the kind staff were the highlights. The property owners could enhance their patrons stay by cleaning the carpets that were badly stained, replacing tattered blinds in the rooms, cleaning draperies, replacing shower curtains that are yellowed and stained, and taking sheets and pillow cases for the beds out of rotation that are beginning to shred from being thread bare and that have visible stains on them. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if the property were deep cleaned regularly and things that needed replacing were replaced regularly. I would not stay here again if the property were in the same condition as I experienced this visit.
