Positive: Apartment is clean, tidy, spacious, very well located and has everything we need - a real home away from home. Communication was clear and prompt. Unit is very quiet. Bev, the manager was really thoughtful to leave the key in the unit, as we arrived late. No duvet over the bed as probably not needed for the last week of October when we stayed, but the weather unexpectedly turned cold (below 10 degrees Celsius) for this time of year. We piled on the woolen blankets to keep warm in the night. The heat pump in the living room was great to keep the apartment warm during our stay. We would recommend The Peninsular Merimbula to anyone in a heartbeat and would definitely return to stay if we are ever in the area again.
Negative: The shower is over the bathtub, and the shower head is affixed to the wall. Would have preferred a shower head with a hose attached. Bathroom is a bit small. No need for a bathtub - space would have been better used for a larger walk-in shower. That's just a personal preference. A pair of scissors in the kitchen would be very useful as well.
