Are you looking for that peaceful place where you and your family can make memories to last a lifetime? Look no further than The Shores of Lost Lake! This beautiful 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Located just 20 minutes from downtown Ludington MI, The Shores of Lost Lake offers a quiet, all-sport lake with a sandy bottom and breathtaking sunsets. You'll also find some of the finest restaurants in Ludington, including the famous House of Flavors ice cream parlor. If you're looking for family-friendly activities, the Amber Elk Ranch is just 15 minutes away, offering a petting zoo, wagon rides, and evening BBQs. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes are only 25 minutes away, and Downtown Pentwater, with its charming small-town atmosphere, is also just a short drive away.
The vacation home features a master bedroom with a queen bed, two additional bedrooms with queen beds, and a fourth bedroom just off the garage with a queen bed. The fully equipped kitchen has all the dining plates and utensils you'll need, and the living room is furnished with a flat-screen smart TV and a DVD player with a selection of movies. You'll also find a washer/dryer in the laundry room for your convenience.
Step out onto the deck and enjoy the stunning view of the lake, surrounded by colorful trees in the fall. With direct access to the water, you can fish right off the dock or take our pontoon boat out for fishing or swimming. We also provide kayaks and a pedal boat for you to explore Turtle Cove, just two lots over, or simply relax on the beach.
If you're up for more adventure, take a short 10-minute drive to the Pere Marquette River for canoeing or head to Lake Michigan for a day at the beach. You can also visit Jo Sander's to stock up on your favorite meats and cheese for grilling on our gas grill.
We now offer a 2020 pontoon boat for rent, (by the week only) complete with a tow bar, tow rope, tube, diving board, live well, first full tank of fuel (17 gallons), and fishing seats. Bring your Bluetooth device and enjoy your favorite music while cruising the lake.
Please note that our facility is a no-smoking, no-pets property. A $1,500 cleaning fee will be charged if smoking or pets are discovered. Sheets and towels are provided, and the home is equipped with air conditioning and fans to keep you cool on hot days. Please be aware that the internet connection is not high-speed due to our location.
We have a cleaning service that takes care of the property between each stay. Early check-in depends on the cleanliness of the previous renters, so we kindly ask you to leave the home in good condition to avoid any additional charges. Any extra charges incurred will be passed on to the renters.
During the pre and post-peak season, we do consider short stays. However, during the summer, we only accept weekly 7-day bookings with a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
