This is a beautifully finished traditional farmhouse in a wonderfully unique and secluded spot benefiting from fantastic countryside and river views. The property sleeps 6 across 3 bedrooms (2 en-suite and one with direct access to the family bathroom) and features a large open plan living/kitchen/dining space with woodburning stove and direct access to the garden.
The space
Old Milton is situated just off the Cateran Trail in Bridge of Cally, which is only 6 miles from Blairgowrie and about 30 minutes drive from the Cairngorms & Glenshee. The Bridge of Cally Hotel has a cosy pub and restaurant and is a pleasant 40min walk away from the farmhouse. There are also a range of amenities, shops, cafes, and restaurants in Blairgowrie which is a 15 minute drive away.
Your stay at Old Milton can be as relaxing or as active as you wish. The garden is a haven for wildlife and benefits from amazing views over the river and open fields so grab a good book, take a seat and see what you can spot. **A couple of points to note:
- The property is positioned around 100m from a very fast flowing river and is also surrounded by fields which will be home to farm animals at various times throughout the year. PLEASE ENSURE CHILDREN ARE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES.
- The property is around 300m down a track road which is suitable for most cars but please drive slowly. We do have a snow plough which will keep the track clear however access may be restricted for periods of time.
- The track to the property is also used by the farm workers and fishermen so please ensure access to the fields and river are not blocked.
