Positive: Great budget option right in the centre of town, surrounded by bars, restaurants, and everything you need. The room was simple but comfortable, with a big bed, good shower, and excellent air conditioning. The staff were genuinely lovely - the guy at reception even found a warm storage room to dry out my shoes after the ATM Cave tour so I could wear them again the next day. You can also use the pool at their partner hotel, the Midas, which is a nice bonus.
Negative: The entrance is a bit hard to spot - it’s upstairs above some shops with a side staircase. There’s no hot water in the sink which was the smallest sink I’ve ever seen! The Smart TV works, but you have to sign in with your own account.
Summary: Friendly, comfy, and great value - perfect base for exploring the San Ignacio area.
