Positive: The staff in the restaurant were friendly and most of them serve above and beyond.Also security staff were helpful. The room was kept clean. Breakfast and dinner choices were very good. The gardens are attractive and the colonial style buildings were lovely. A big thank you to Alexandra, Ashvin, Jatin, Ajay, Amand, Jamelia, Stephan, Kossi and Mrs Sampat for various areas of service in restaurant, security, cleaning, etc. Also thank you to the hotel manager, Elodie, for taking the time to have a chat with me.
Negative: Checking in process was average. We found some staff (Alexandra) very passionate in their role while others lacked people skill. This was our second stay at this hotel and we were disappointed at not enjoying as much as last time (there was a lot of changes in staff) . At breakfast, quite often in the restaurant, there was a shortage of food and drinking glasses. Also some of the 'hot food' , eg snacks, was cold quite often.
Summary: Overall we enjoyed our stay and will consider coming back.
