In the emblematic area of Santana, Villa Achada da Mouca is the perfect retreat for a refuge from the everyday life. Stop, breathe, and be welcome!
In addition to being surrounded by all the nature that so well characterizes the island, it is also surrounded by beautiful gardens ideal for recharging batteries, relaxing and reconnecting with mother nature. Framing the gardens, we have several reading and leisure corners, an inviting porch and also the barbecue with winter garden that anticipates the house.
Of rural and rustic style, this house is cosy, comfortable and convenient. It is divided into 2 bedrooms, one ensuite with a double bed and the other with two separate beds, both with plenty of natural light and views over the garden. Also overlooking the garden and with direct access to the exterior we have the living room and its warm decoration. In the less hot days you can even use the fireplace that is here and enjoy this cosy atmosphere.
Still on this floor you will find the kitchen and dining area, also very well prepared with all the facilities you need for a pleasant stay. In the last floor of the house you will find a lounge with a secular wine cellar and billiard table.
Although the property offers two private parking spaces, you won't need your car to explore all the natural attractions within walking distance of your accommodation. With a walk "for all", the idyllic Queimadas area is an inviting 2 km from the property. This short walk that starts literally on your doorstep is just the first of the many trails in the area.
These paths, which are both iconic and recommended, unfold among the nature of this parish in a thousand of options, among these you have the Levada do Caldeirão Verde and the Levada do Caldeirão do Inferno that are a must visit. The Levada do Rei, Levada da Silveira and the Aguage (or Água D'alto) Waterfall are some other natural attractions of this area.
Forest parks with picnic areas, viewpoints as far as the eye can see, Madeira Theme Park and, of course, the typical houses of Santana are what make this county the best choice when visiting the island!
