Positive: Very spacious villa, close to Kamari beach - up on a hillside, with a great view of the sea. Very white and bright inside. We did have a car, which we prefer for the supermarket, or visiting other parts of Santorini. However, it’s not too far to walk to all the Kamari restaurants and small supermarkets. We liked having 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. We were a family with 3 adult children. It’s quite a small kitchen but we had good weather so ate outside. We loved having a cleaner daily, it felt more like a hotel, with clean towels and our beds made, which made it more relaxing. Was an also a nice touch to supply toiletries/loo paper/dishwasher tablets etc. There are several seating areas, and plenty of space around the villa. There’s also a side path down to the sea.
Negative: It’s hard to criticise. Probably we’re quite particular, but we’d have liked more comfortable sunbeds. They are basic mesh ones. At the beach most sunbeds are thick, cushioned ones. This is an expensive villa, and this lets it down a bit. Everything else is comfortable. It also needs some repairs around the pool, but it was September and maybe they will do this during the winter. It’s very obviously a rental, not a home, but that’s OK. Would be helpful to have a booklet with instructions/taxi numbers/house info too, although any issues were dealt with very quickly and efficiently.
Summary: Spacious, modern villa, by the beach. perfect holiday.
