Positive: We came to Villa Fregn as a base for visiting Fulufjället National Park with our two kids (3 and 6), and ended up staying an extra night because none of us wanted to leave. The owners are incredibly warm and do everything they can to make you feel welcome. You can tell they truly want you to have the best possible stay, and they gave us great tips on what to see in the area. Our wooden cabin was perfect for a family. A highlight was the wood-fired hot tub (badestamp) down by the river. Afterwards we sat by the fire in the lean-to (gapahuk) to dry off, surrounded by nature. Pure bliss! There are also plenty of other activities on offer, from moose and bear safaris to SUP, packrafting, canyoning and guided hikes, so there's something for every age. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. I didn't expect to be wowed by the food, but I was. Dinner is served at 19:00 with a menu of the day, and Bart even brought toys for our son and drawing books for our daughter to keep them happy between courses. Fantastic service and wonderful people. We'll 100% be back next year!

Negative: Nothing – only that we had to leave!

Summary: Family stay – we extended by a night!
