Positive: Our stay at Vista Mar Hotel in Bocas del Toro was a mix of experiences. While the hotel shows signs of age and rooms are quite small, the accommodations were comfortable enough for our 3 nights visit. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a good start to our days. The daily happy hour, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, featured $3 cocktails - among the piña coladas and daiquiris we thoroughly enjoyed. At nearly $100 per night, Vista Mar felt a bit pricey for what it offers, but the central waterfront location and friendly staff helped balance things out. Even though we had quite a bit of rain during our stay, we still enjoyed the laid-back vibe of the island.
