Travel Purpose: business
Positive: The guest house is in the old town center of Altamura. It is a second level house entrance with a small bar below. You enter into a common kitchen which has everything to cook a simple meal and plenty of refrigerator space. I appreciate that they have a compost and recycle bins. We were up the stairs from the kitchen in a suite that had 2 bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom. The entire guest house has been recently remodeled and is tastefully decorated. It is spotless and was comfortable and in a good location in the center of town.
Negative: One night there was some noise from the music in the bar but that did end promptly when it seems a neighbor spoke to the owner and had them close the doors. The bar owners do seem to be very respectful and keep the area clean and were very friendly.
Summary: Would highly recommend renting the entire house for a family or group of 4 or more people.
