Welcome to this cozy and homely cottage located in a small cottage area near the charming coastal idyll and fishing village of Grundsund. The long narrow community is divided by a canal that separates Skaftรถ from the small island of รsรถ. Along the canal there are picturesque boathouses and piers from different eras. There are professional fishermen here where you can buy fresh fish, prawns and crabs directly from the boats. At the รstra kajen, a new promenade has been built, a long jetty to Skรคddhรฅlan and which then continues on a hiking trail to Vigene bathing place, which is also your cottage's bathing place within walking distance. This cozy coastal community, with its beautiful villas and sea-splashed piers, is popular in many ways, for example large parts of the popular TV series Saltรถn were filmed here. There are several bathing spots in the area for a cooling swim, sand between your toes and relaxation on the sun-warmed rocks. Experience the archipelago by e.g. rent a kayak or go on a seal safari or hike on coastal roads and paths. From a welcoming veranda with summer furniture you come to the entrance door, on the inside you are met by a hall that leads on to the kitchen with stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher, dining area, living room with wonderfully comfortable sofa group, reading corner and TV, three bedrooms, one with double bed and two with single bed, WC and separate shower room where there is also a washing machine. From the living room, double doors lead out onto the cottage's patio area with outdoor furniture and a barbecue where you can enjoy delicious meals, read a good book or perhaps just relax after a lovely day at the beach or golf course. The cabin is equipped with fiber connection. From the cabin you can also easily make day trips to other places worth visiting on Skaftรถ or Havets Hus in Lysekil, Nordens Ark, Smรถgen, Kungshamn or other fishing and boating communities in northern Bohuslรคn.
