Swimming in the sea is very safe here at Playa Hermosa due to it being in a cove and protected. This is our home and we live here all the time I do not think we could find a more beautiful place to live. David is the 3rd largest city in Panama. It is situated 1 hour away from our property on a very good road. Here you will find a large assortment of different shops, stalls and markets of all kinds. Some of the large shops here include Conways (this has just opened here December 09) Rey, Romero and 99 Shops are large supermarkets that are open 24 hours. There is also a large Pricesmart shop and numerous restaurants of all types and Casinos.
There are 2 large modern hospitals with all the latest equipment.
From here it is a very good point to visit Boquette, and also Volcan which is the highest point in Panama. Volcan is where the they gown a lot of the produce for Panama Cerro Punta which is a very famous place and is known as the bread basket of Panama.
Costa Rica frontier is only 40 minutes away from David.
