Positive: Caladium house should be a destination. We booked this B&B on our way to the airport and did not know the gem it was. What makes this place so unique is that it is a birders paradise. My husband saw many new varieties including a painted bunting, a rare bird.The host’s garden is also impressive. There are plants, trees and bushes everywhere. The name Caladium comes from the 113 varieties of Caladium she grows. We sat out on the patio overlooking the hills. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit from the garden, eggs, toast and yoghurt. Host did not speak English but used Google Translate. Room was small but super clean.
Negative: When you arrive, you are on a steep road and therefore the driveway is hard to see. It might be good to have a better sign at the road.
Summary: A birders paradise with a beautiful view and a great breakfast!
