Positive: ECO-POR is an eco-lodge near Guadalupe, near the north end of Sao Tomé. Our room was a wooden cabin with bathroom and shower. The breakfast was really good and well prepared by Junior every morning. The complex was really nice and you felt as you were sleeping in the middle of the jungle. You can park within the facilities across an impressive gate and it feels really safe inside.
Negative: Access was a bit rough, with an unpaved road full of potholes -- a 4x4 is a must, especially if it's muddy. There was a small bath mat but it was always damp and could have been better. The shower was very dark. We had a terrace but there were not enough chairs for us.
Summary: Authentic jungle accommodation, but bring your own all-terrain car
