Outdoor:
Private Beach with sand toys, and some pool floaties.
Paver patio overlooking beach/lake with chairs, umbrella, and off the ground round fire pit (this can only be used on days that campfires are allowed per MN DNR – firewood available for purchase in local towns).
Kayaks/paddles: two child sized, two sit on top adult, and three sit in adult available for guest use.
Mixed variety of life jackets available for guest use – please bring your own when possible.
Large deck with patio set, umbrella and five burner gas grill.
Yard is treated professionally for mosquitoes.
Outdoor GFCI outlet on garage for boat battery charging.
Pontoon is available for rent, subject to availability, for an additional fee per day/week. Please reach out if you are interested in more information.

House Rules:
• 5 guests maximum – kids three and under not counted toward total guests. You must make reservation for total guests. If more guest arrive at any time that are not included in the booking this can result in cancellation of your stay.
• No other person(s) may be on the property that were not included in the reservation without prior approval from host.
• Pets are not allowed. Please do not make a reservation and then ask if you can bring your pet.
• No smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes allowed. No illegal drugs.
• Quiet hours from 10pm to 8am, this is strictly enforced especially for outdoor spaces, you will be told to leave and reservation cancelled.
• No parties/partying and no events to be held on property.
• No commercial photography and or filming allowed on the property.
• Guests must stay within property lines and not trespass on neighboring properties.
• Guest will be responsible for removing their garbage and recycling from the house to the bins in the garage. No food, garbage, recycling, or coolers allowed to be left outside. Coolers should be kept in the garage. If a cooler is brought into the house and leaks, guest is responsible for any damages that may occur to the property.
• No driving on lawn. Vehicles must stay up by garage at all times.
• All indoor and outdoor furniture needs to remain in its current location and serve its intended purpose. No inside furniture to be used outside.
• Fireworks are not allowed on the property.
• Please be mindful of how noise carries on the lake and respect quiet hours.
• Life Jackets must be worn by children per MN State regulations. Adults must also follow MN State regulations regarding water/boating safety.
• Kayaks and paddles need to be used respectfully – if used during the stay, you do not need to put away each night but keep items in grass area and out of the water. Please do not drag kayaks on gravel/cement. Kayaks/paddles should not be taken off the property. They are for use at Hideaway Haven only.
• The cutting down of trees/branches is not permitted – firewood must be purchased from a local town in the area.
• Please ensure all items that you used while at the property remain when you leave (ex. kitchen utensils, cutlery, kitchen towels, bath towels, hair dryer, hair straightener, bedding, pillows, etc).
• Use of indoor fireplace not permitted.
• Please do not turn gas grill on high. Please be mindful when using grill and pay attention at all times.
• No wet clothes/towels to be left on the floor/furniture/shower frame/door - please use retractable clothesline located above the tub or hampers in the laundry room.
• Please do not turn ac lower than 68 degrees.
• Please do not turn heat higher than 74 degrees.
• If something gets broken, please be honest and message host asap. This ensures good communication between guest / host as well as allows host time to take any necessary steps to remedy issue.
• Guests are expected to follow MN State Fishing regulations. Moccasin Lake is catch and release only for large mouth bass and has a five crappie limit. Please be mindful and respect the regulations.
• If you rent the pontoon, no rope pulling activities of any kind (ex. tubing, waterskiing, rafting, etc). There is a whole separate how to and rules that can be shared prior to rental/as necessary.
• Please be mindful when cleaning fish, and clean up after yourself.
