Positive: The location is in the heart of Begur town a stonesthrow from the main square next to the church in the centre of town. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the alloted parking space. The house is one of the old "Indian" houses (No 17 on the town tour). The hosts gave us a detailed introduction on checking in and there was a lot of reading material available detailing the house history. We had private access to a large lounge area, a very comfortable bedroom and a very well appointed bathroom and large private balcony looking over the west of the town. Despite the central position we had very little noise at night and had no problem sleeping on the comfortable bed. The breakfast each day was different highlighting local produce and cuisine. We opted for the cold buffet but were also offered hot meals. We were leaving too early on the last morning and the hosts provided us with a fine packed breakfast for the airport.
Negative: There was a slight language issue easily overcome by the hosts grandson who interpreted excellently.
Summary: A personal stay in a beautiful historical building that could not be better placed.
