Summary: If you want to escape the tourist trap of the coastal regions and explore a little more of inland Spain then this is the perfect spot for you. Nestled within a national park, surrounded by olive trees with mountain backdrop its very easy on the eye.The farmhouse itself has everything to make your stay comfortable, clean and well equipped, lovely outdoor space to create the perfect alfresco experience. The pool is lockable which prevents little ones gaining access without a grown up, the pool is brine and cool, lovely on those hot summer days. We loved the wood oven and cooked many a meal there which was a real treat. The bedrooms have comfortable mattress' and are beautifully presented. the house has full air conditioning, and although in height of summer temps reach a whopping 38 degrees, because the humidity is that much lower than UK it is very tolerable. We found some lovely little restaurants, check out Rafi Meson (Algar) just delightful and very traditional (roast baby goat, wild boar stew). Our hosts were so genuine, we were welcomed like family, but not over intrusive. We were left a jug of local wine frequently as the spirited through the gardens early mornings to refresh the pool and tend the donkeys. My girls loved the donkeys, basket ball, ping pong table, so many things to keep little people and grown ups entertained. A relaxing, perfect holiday, enjoyed by all. Thank you Casti. x
