Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Daniel and Ellen were very nice hosts, they tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible and were very attentive to our needs. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, the house is beautiful and cozy.
Negative: Our room was mostly underground with only one window above ground. There was a constant smell of damp, the room was small and stuffy, and the drainage in the shower and toilet was operated by a pump, which meant that a lot of water accumulated in the shower basin. There were no shelves in the closet, there was Wi-Fi but there were reception problems in the room. There are guest rooms on the host floor as well, I believe the experience there would be very different as all of our bad experience connected to the specific room. We love rural surroundings and nature, the location here is in a suburban urban environment, we didn't like it, but that's entirely a matter of personal taste.
Summary: Daniel and Alan are super nice but our room was a disappointment
