The Space:
Lanka Cabin is located in the county of Nantou, on the east coast of Taiwan, known for its stunning national parks such as the impressive gorges at Taroko National Park, the rich biodiversity of Yushan National Park, and the rustic charms of the East Rift Valley National Scenic Area.
A comfortable accommodation with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom includes an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower for hot showers.
If you plan to spend your weekend getaways here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you.

Guests will have access to the tiny house and the surrounding area. Just a minute to walk to the stream where you can play in the water or catch small fish and shrimp.

The Neighborhood:
Lanka Cabin is located near the serene Dili Village of Xinyi Township in Nantou County. A Hualien stay that visitors can indulge in refreshing water activities at the nearby creek or explore the picturesque Shuanglong Waterfall Park.
During the holidays, visitors can enjoy performances at the Maluan Art Center. Nearby attractions include Dong's Meatballs, Mutton King, and Sun Moon Lake.
Our local recommendations:
- Hualien County is full of hole-in-the-wall storefronts, night markets and seaside views. It is close to Taroko National Park, about 20 minutes by car.
- Visit the famous Taroko National Park and hike along its scenic trails, and drive eastwards for 15 minutes to Qixingtan Beach for sunset views and breezy walks.
- Qingshui Duanyai, also known as Qingshui Cliffs are the highest coastal cliffs of Taiwan where you can observe the three distinct color tones that make up the Pacific Ocean

- Taroko National Park (Taroko Gorge, Zhuilu Ancient Trail, Buluo Bay, Baiyang Trail, Shuilian Cave, Yanzikou, Jiuqu Cave, Changchun Temple, Tianxiang) is a natural and spectacular canyon with many trails and scenic spots worth a visit.
- Hualien County Qixingtan seaside is a place to enjoy the comfort of sea breeze from the Pacific ocean and to bask in evening sunsets.
- Liyu lake is a tranquil and beautiful lake surrounded by green hills.
- Dongdamen Night Market is a must-go local experience to snack on the go for Hualien local street food.
- Pacific Park at the edge of the bustling Hualien city center is a still environment to get up close with the sea and relax in peace.

Getting Around:
By car:
-The distance from Taichung Railway Station is 71 km, and it takes 1.5 hours.
-The distance to the nearby town Shuili Station is 15 km, and it takes 0.5 hours to arrive by 2WD or 4WD.
By public transport:
-The nearest place that can be reached by public transportation is in Dili Village.
-From Taichung Railway Station to Taichung Gancheng Station
-From Shuili Railway Station, take Fengrong Bus No. 6288 towards Shuanglong, and get off at Dili Station.
-Take the Fengrong Bus to Shuili Railway Station in a favorable location

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Pets are allowed but are limited to 1 pet only
- No smoking allowed inside/outside the tiny house
- Guests are required to bring their own food and water
- Please do not leave your children unattended inside/outside camp
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Campsite policies
- Dropping of cigarette butts is not allowed, please dispose of them properly
- Guests are responsible for any damages that occur during their stay at the camp.
- Please dispose of your garbage properly by sorting it into the designated trash cans at this campsite.
- Fireworks, mahjong, and karaoke are strictly prohibited. Anyone caught participating will be asked to leave.
- Guests are prohibited to bring high-power-consumption products to bring high-power-consumption items to avoid power outages
Guest Advisory
- We kindly request all guests to refrain from making loud noises after 10 PM to maintain a peaceful and enjoyable environment for all. However, if we receive noise complaints, we may need to ask the offending party to leave the campsite without any refund.
Safety guidelines
- Climbing of trees and ridges is not allowed.
- Please slow down when the vehicle enters or exits the campsite.
- Keep in mind that temperatures in mountainous places vary greatly between day and night; please bring warm clothing as it can get chilly.
- For BBQ and campfires, please use the fire platform in non-grass areas and don't light the fire directly on the ground or put hot pots or water on the turf.
Important note :
- Don't forget to close the windows and lock the doors when leaving the tiny house
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban.
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our compost toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
