Summary: By far the best thing about Le Marelle was the host. He is super kind, considerate and thoughtful. Gives excellent advice and guidance on everything from how to use the public transport to places to visit etc. Really goes out of his way to make the guests feel comfortable. The hotel itself is located in Furore, roughly 25 - 30 mins from Amalfi town (by bus). Make sure you get the bus timetable and follow it. Its located pretty high up on a hill, the views from the deck (and from our room) were mind blowing. If you plan to walk down to FJordi di Furore (absolute MUSt while visiting Amalfi), be prepared to climb down roughly 2000 steps, while it takes about 35 - 45 minutes, it puts a LOT of stress on your knees. Or you can take the bus. Overall we had an amazing stay.
