Welcome to our small, private summer home. With its central location near downtown, our house is the perfect base for exploring all of Santa Barbara.

We frequently have small children staying at our house, so no pets, animals, smoking, vaping, drugs, guns, or parties of any kind are allowed (inside or outside).

- Bedroom 2: Two twin beds and storage cubbies
- Both bedrooms feature blackout curtains
2 BATHROOMS:
- Bathroom 1: Guest bathroom features a tub/shower combo
- Bathroom 2: Primary bedroom ensuite has a large walk-in shower
GARAGE (No interior access. Use the exterior side door for access)
- Laundry amenities: full-sized washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board
- Beach amenities - a small cooler, boogie boards, folding chairs, and beach toys (items may vary)
- Note: the garage is being used for storage, so it cannot be used for parking

- Weber Q100 propane grill (Please note that guests must bring and dispose of their own 16 oz camping size propane cylinders. These can be purchased at any major grocery store. A full-size propane tank adapter is not available.)

PARKING:
While there is a single, STEEP parking spot on the driveway (suitable for a small car only), there is free street parking available (especially on Arellaga). Guests should pay attention to the street cleaning signs (Wednesdays or Thursdays depending on the side of the street). The garage is being used for storage and cannot be used for parking. We do not have an EV charger or plug (and do not allow trickle charging), but there is a Tesla Supercharger Station just 3 miles away.
CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS
1) take out the trash to prevent odors
2) wash the dishes (either by hand or by using the dishwasher)
3) turn off the thermostat, lights, and fans
4) lock all the windows and doors
GUEST ACCESS
All of the house (interior and exterior) except the owner's closet in the garage.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
For safety and security purposes, we do require a copy of a government identification (e.g. state driver's license or passport) for the guest booking the property. The booking guest must be present during the stay. For extended stays, an additional signed contract, proof of income, and background checks will be required. Failure to provide the required information so may result in cancellation of the booking at the guests' expenses.
It's important to us that our guests have a safe and enjoyable stay, while also being respectful of our neighborhood. Our home is small and can only accommodate a total of 4 humans (including babies and children) at any time for fire safety and insurance purposes. Please refrain from making noise outdoors after 9 pm. Our property is not suitable for parties, gatherings, or loud activities. We strictly enforce these policies to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests and neighbors.
We're sorry, but we do not allow pets in our home due to allergy and insurance issues. We appreciate your understanding. There is a minimum fine of $300 per pet per day plus any cleaning fees if pets are brought into the home.
We do stick to our rules and cancellation policies. Please review them carefully. Guests are to purchase travel insurance to protect themselves in case their travel plans need to change. We do not provide refunds outside of the cancellation window.
High speed WiFi is provided (via Cox Internet). If guests have critical business or work that is dependent on an internet connection, we do recommend that guests bring a backup option (such as cell phone data) in case there is an issue with the Cox internet. The host is not responsible for any outages caused by Cox, the electric company, the gas company, the water company, the weather, or anything else outside of the host's control.
Trash pickup usually occurs on Mondays (or on Tuesdays after a national holiday), and the trash service will automatically collect any garbage placed into the appropriate bins next to the garage.
The gardener usually comes every other Thursday (subject to change).
