Come relax and enjoy all this area has to offer. Float or fish on the river, then make your way to Bass Pro, Springfield ‘s night life, shopping Ans great restaurants. 35 foot deck will allow you to enjoy the great outdoor areas. There are deer, turkey, raccoons, opossum, and a great variety of birds. Main house is about 1000 feet away and not visible once there. In the country. No handrail to river. It’s the country. Lol. There is also a hot tub on patio

Summary: Rented this cute little cabin space for a weekend get-a-away after the hectic holidays. Just me, the wife and the dog. we were looking for a quick get-a-away from Kansas CIty and It was just about perfect for what we wanted...and expected. The fresh 3 inch's of snow that arrived the morning we traveled into town made it all the more perfect. Great view from the deck of the James River in the winter, with the new snow blanketing the trees. The Hot Tub was awesome in the evenings after long hikes in the local parks and trails. Fire pit was used every night, although I probably made a mess of the woodpile trying to find dryer wood to split from the snow and ice. We are planning to come back in the summer to go kayaking/canoeing with the easy access to the river right from the property. Would recommend for a couple or small family.
