Can Cruset de Greansola is a farm dedicated to agriculture, mainly to the vine and the olive tree, and now also to the agrotourism.
It dates from the year 1700 approximately and is located on the top of a hill surrounded by vineyards and forests, in the municipality of Torrelles de Foix, from where a good part of the landscape of the Penedรจs is dominated.
The set consists of the main house where the family lives, some annexes in restoration, which can be visited as the chapel and the winery, and three more houses, currently one dedicated to rural tourism.
Mas Colom is recently restored, following traditional methods and materials to get a perfectly integrated home on the farm and in the countryside, with the necessary amenities to welcome visitors.

Summary: we stayed at can cruset for a week with our two daughters (aged 9 & 11). everything about our stay was amazing. we had excellent communication from gemma leading up to our stay and were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. gemma and her family are wonderful, friendly hosts - they are unobstrusive and give you all the privacy you would need, but are most happy to chat & give local advice if you would like them to. the property is in an incredible location, with amazing views of the local vineyards in every direction while, at night, the local villages dot the horizon with their lights. getting to can cruset itself was a little daunting at first, as you need to travel off the main roads and onto very small farm roads - so make sure you have a good map. however, after a day or two we were able to navigate between all the vineyards like locals, and enjoyed exploring. the nearby villages (sant marti sarroca in particular) are well stocked with groceries etc, while the larger town of vilafranca is a 10 minute drive away, from where we caught the train directly to barcelona (45mins) for a day trip. everything about the accommodation is excellent - very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, etc. gemma and her family have taken great care in the appearance of the place. you have your own private access outside the main complex (where a few families live) and all the facilities of the house, including the pool, are private and exclusive to you. wi-fi is not accessible from inside the house (thick stone walls!), but sit up in the open communal patio (with an incredible view over the valley) and you get a good connection, so no complaints there. you can also buy produce from the farm which are delicious and very well priced (3โ‚ฌ for a bottle of excellent penedes wine, for example). we ended up buying a box of wine to take as gifts to family further south in spain. we loved our stay at can cruset. we can't fault the property at all and have many very fond memories.
