The houseboat "Dolphin" has 4 distinct areas for your enjoyment and has more space than you would think! Outside areas: there is a large upper deck with convertible outdoor furniture, a lower back deck with roll-out shade cover, (Wonderful place for morning coffee!) and a covered front deck on the bow. All have different furniture. Inside: There is 1 bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed, a salon with a dining table that can seat four people on two bench seats. There are 2 comfortable chairs, with arm rests and ratcheting backs that convert to lounge chairs, two single beds, or can be push together to make one double bed. (2 inch foam pads can be added for max comfort when made into beds). There are two roof mounted AC units, one in the bedroom, one in the salon. The one in the salon has heat if needed in the winter months. A smart Fire TV and Bluetooth speaker for your entertainment A full galley (kitchen) with a full size fridge/freezer (with Ice trays I have freshly filled for your arrival), two burner stove top, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The galley is fully equipped with things like: pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, knives, bottle openers, scissors, cups, wine tumblers, spices, condiments, and more. I supply you with a full package of coffee, sugar, powdered creamer and two bottles of water per person, per stay. (More info about extras below!) There is 1 bathroom with large shower on the boat. There is limited toilet use on the boat due to typical state laws/marina life. You can only go #1 on the boat and you will need to learn the proper way to flush so the sanitation system treats all flushes properly, it is easy and full instructions on the boat. But no worries, it is a short walk, a couple hundred feet, up the dock to the main marina building for #2, you can NOT go #2 on the boat! (welcome to marina life! LOL) You may invite your local friends over to also enjoy the houseboat, because let's face it, it is cool and unique! Just remember, to let them know all safety rules and you are responsible for them, max 4 people overnight though, I am open to discussing the possibility of 5 people max in some circumstances. There is so much to do in the marina, including, but not limited to: The Wet Whistle Bar, food trucks, jet ski/boat rentals, fishing/boating charters, helicopter tours, tiki boat tours, kyack rentals and more! There is a bit of a learning curve to living/staying on a boat, most important is being steady on your feet, the boat rocks, moves up and down with the water/tides. Easy, detailed instructions are on the boat on how to turn on lights, use shower drain pump, flush toilet, etc, but it is all easy once you know how. I charge a very minimal cleaning fee because all guests have been neat and tidy when checking out. No worries if you don't want to be, just leave some cash for cleaning if you choose. I also keep lot's of extras onboard for guest use, such as: enough paper towels, TP, trash bags ect. for your whole stay. I also provide beach towels, beach chairs, a Frisbee, zip lock bags, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, soaps, basic first aid items, spices, condiments and other little thing's you don't have to worry about packing! Feel free to use what you need, but please be kind and not take what you don't use of the consumables. All linens, including bedspread and mattress pad, are cleaned/sanitized between every guest along with bath/kitchen towels and snuggle TV blanket. This is a true vacation destination/experience stay! Yes, you can fish off the boat and marina docks (State fishing license required) There are even underwater drop lights around the marina docks so you can watch the underwater life at night. There is an abundance of wildlife around the boat/marina including, many varieties of birds, fish and sometimes, mostly in winter months, you can even watch dolphins from the back of the boat in the mornings, as you can see from the pictures, they even sometimes come right up to the boat!
Just read the reviews, people LOVE staying on "Dolphin" for a true FL water stay vacation! The houseboat is 42'X12'. Most guests have claimed there to be more space than they expected, it is every comfortable and better than the pictures show.
