When looking your luxury villa, if views and privacy is high on your list then this Villa is for you. Being one of the popular villas from our collection, Villa Blaaskans is a beautifully laid out villa that has an authentic African flair present throughout the villa.
Open the door to this villa and you are greeted to sublime finishes from the crisp white walls to the décor that compliments the architectural design of this villa. The kitchen is fitted with state-of-the-art appliances from a gas top stove, oven, fridge, a Nespresso coffee machine, and microwave. The utility room has a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The living space is well placed and creates a social environment for any guest with a beautiful feature wall that boasts a fireplace for those cooler evenings. The living spaces filter smoothly into the exterior of the villa which allows for beautiful natural light to fill the rooms throughout the day.
The exterior boasts a beautiful terrace that has a private heated swimming pool, BBQ area and sun loungers for your enjoyment. This villa is enjoyed thoroughly due to the height that the property is situated on the estate, allowing for breathtaking views of the African sunset and the little Dranksberg mountains in the distance from your terrace or the outdoor showers.
Unique to this villa is the location of the master bedroom and the guesthouse with two bedrooms. These are each in a separate wing and that ensures maximum privacy, especially when staying with several adults and / or children. The bedrooms are separated by a beautiful central living room with fireplace, dining table and open kitchen. A favourite of ours is the bathtub in this villa, the perfect spot to unwind after the adventures of the day.
The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bath, double washbasins, indoor and outdoor shower.
Also frequently visiting the villa are Giraffes, zebras, nyalas, impalas and warthogs. The present water bowl makes these animals like to visit Villa Blaaskans to quench their thirst. To top it all off is the beautiful, secluded fire boma area that is situated amongst the trees in the bushveld. Villa Blaaskans also offers a full backup battery system to ensure no disruption during your stay due to the current electricity outages in South Africa.

Summary: Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) spent 12 days in this villa. This holiday accommodation was more than perfect for our family holiday to Kruger National Park and the Blyde river canyon. Facilities were very luxury, immaculate, and just 45 minutes from the Orpen Gate. Our villa was surrounded by bushveld where we find giraffe, zebra, impala and warthog. An Kudu was sometimes drinking out of the pool, AMAZING! Because the villa is surrounded by bushveld you have a lot of privacy and enjoy nature up-close. The view from the villa on the Drakensbergen was fantastic especially by sunset! The activities in the direct area, like walking safari, night safari, game drives where very nice for kids, The favorite of our kids where the Horse Riding and a visit to Jessica the Hippo! Also the wild animals on the estate and the Kruger National Park were loved. The village of Hoedspruit was great, and offers a lot of facilities, 2 supermarkets, 2 gasstations, an shopping centre and many lovely restaurants, our favorite was Sleepers and Hat & Creek! Hat & Creek was also nice for the kids because of the playground. Hoedspruit village was only 3 min drive from the estate, friendly people in the area, safe and secure. The Host (Sue) were lovely and helped us if we had any kind of questions! The Family de Korte respond very quick to our questions, and the information guide is a great document which we received after our booking.
