The house is located in the small village of Nipiditos, in the center of Heraklion prefecture. In the village there is a traditional cafe-grocery, which in the evenings also offers local delicacies. The village is 37 kilometers (38 minutes) from Heraklion and the nearest airport, 27-34 kilometers (37-40 minutes) from the bustling and crowded northern beaches (Hersonissos, Stalida, Malia) and 31 kilometers (40 minutes) from Tsoutsouros with one of the most beautiful and clean beaches of southern Crete. Within 40 with 50 minutes you can enjoy swimming in other beautiful and quiet beaches in the south (Kastri, Keratokampos). The location is also ideal for exploring the Lasithi plateau and the surrounding traditional villages, where you can enjoy amazing Cretan cuisine with local products. It's a good choice to use this secluded, quiet place to stay while you can to drive and explore the rest of southern, northern and eastern Crete on day trips.
