Positive: We just stayed at the Manolo Villa for our Honeymoon and id like to start off by saying that our stay was incredible. Naluemon was a fantastic host. Upon arrival, Naluemon kindly had a cake, champagne and balloons waiting for us, which we were ecstatic about and greatly appreciated. We were then given a tour and run down of the villa and island and Naluemon gave suggestion on things to do and see. Naluemon was there for anything and everything that we needed, whether that be for ordering food, exchanging money, booking rentals and excursions, or just driving us to the night market. The 3 restaurants right next door will deliver the food right to the villa table if requested, which we took advantage of a couple of times during our stay. Each morning, villa staff would come by and clean the outside and then cut up fresh fruit and place it in the fridge for us to enjoy. The villa itself was breathtaking, the photos do not do it justice. A quick walk on the beach and you will quickly meet a new friend, Samui, a beautiful and friendly golden retriever who will gladly walk and play with you as you explore the water. This villa is situated where the locals live which makes it perfect for couples that want to be an away from the busy tourist towns or want more of a local experience. With that being said, it is about a 35-40 min drive to Chaweng. Since it is an island, grabs are on the pricer side when compared to the rest of Thailand, so id recommend getting a rental car or scooter/motorcycle to get around.
Negative: I want to start this section off by saying that this did not in any way dampen our experience. The living room in villa only has 4 ceiling lights that are a little dim, a warm blue light that goes around the room, and a table top light lamp. The lighting provides more of a romantic ambiance which is great at times; however, the room was a little too dark for us personally, especially while eating at the table. There is no light adjuster (dimmer) for the lights, but Naluemon kindly and quickly offered to change the warm blue light to white light, but it was not that big of a deal so we declined. At checkout, Naluemon mentioned that they plan to replace the 4 ceiling lights with brighter lights.
Summary: Thank you Naluemon, our stay was nothing short of incredible!
