Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Yeruu’s dining room overlooks an amazing river view which is impressive at any time of year and during any weather. The staff who were working the bar whilst we were there created a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like staying with friends. The hiking in the valley is superb and you can hike directly from the lodge. Ger Sauna is also a great feature of Yeruu Lodge. They grow a lot of their own Salad in Greenhouses on site.
Negative: There’s nothing I didn’t like about Yeruu. Be careful if going at certain times of year because if the river is high it means that the lodge is only accessible from certain points.
Summary: A High class Ger camp that stays loyal to being authentically Mongolian.
