Summary: The house itself is great, the decor is super fun, the kitchen has everything you might need and the outdoor space is lovely. The owner is also great and was quick to respond when we ran into some issues. However there were a few issues, for example, it took a long time to get hot water in one of the bathrooms, but the most significant issue was how challenging it was to deal with the property management company Evolve. They overcharged us for the fee to heat the pool. It was supposed to be $75/day, but they charged us $82/day. When we emailed them questions they directed us to contact the โ€œlocal hostโ€ GoodBoy Concierge. GoodBoy Concierge never responded to our email. We did not receive any check-in instructions until the day we were traveling to Palm Springs and it was still unclear. Due to some issues with the wifi going out there were issues with having the pool and spa heated and so there were a number of days that we were unable to use the pool/spa. As I mentioned above the owner was quick to respond and try to resolve the issue, but it still took some time. We sent Evolve a message explaining the issues we had and requested a refund for the amount that we were overcharged and for the days that we were unable to use the pool/spa. Evolve responded by saying that the extra $7/day was a booking fee charged by VRBO. They did not respond to the issues we had with the pool not being heated for several days. We responded to their message and never heard back from them.
